Sharpitor is a megalithic site near Lustleigh in Dartmoor. The tor is surrounded by forest, overlooking the Bovey Valley. One of the two giants of Walkhampton Common. Easily recognisable and a very popular tor for people to climb because of it’s close proximity to the road. Lends it’s name to ROC Sharpitor observation bunker which was situated close by on Peek Hill until it was decomissioned in 1991.
